CLUB DETAILS

Weekly Monday evening coaching sessions at Cannonsburg Ski Area from 6-8pm

5th-12th Grade*

Spots are limited to ensure each club member receives quality coaching.

Snowboard club will focus on all mountain riding which includes both Freeriding (groomers, sidehits, chairlift runs, carving) and Freestyle (terrain park boxes, jumps and rails) skills.

Financial assistance available through various partnerships/virtual schools

SNOWBOARD SKILLS/PREREQUISITES CHECKLIST

Students must already be able to:

Make S-turns(linking toe and heel turns in) in control down intermediate level runs(any hill that is not the bunny hill)
Ride a chairlift unassisted by instructor
Ride a rope tow unassisted by instructor AND without having to take a boot out of the board
Ride in control and come to a complete stop when needed
Be willing to ride in Freestyle Skills Area and follow all terrain park rules

Venture Action Sports reserves the right to turn down students who do not meet the skill requirements on the first day of club. In that event Venture Action Sports can offer a partial refund or a limited private lesson alternative.
